Mayfield Cattery Terms & Conditions

All cats are required to arrive with an up to date vaccination certificate . All cats must have been immunised against Infectious Feline Enteritis- and Cat Flu.

We are afraid we cannot accept any boarders who arrive without (we are, by law, required to provide this information for on the spot inspections).

We request that all our visitors are given flea, tick and worming treatments prior to arrival. Cats found to have either of these conditions will be treated and the resulting bill will be passed to the owner on collection.

By agreeing to the terms and conditions you authorise us to call a vet on your behalf should we consider it necessary. We will contact the client to advise them and any subsequent bills will be added to the final invoice.

A full days board will be charged on arrival and departure days regardless of the arrival / departure time.

All bookings will be confirmed after the £20 deposit has been received this is non refundable if the booking is cancelled. Please make cheques payable to Mayfield Cattery. Contact us for account details should you wish to pay by BACS

Payment must be made in full at the time of departure or for home visits , when we return the keys.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions the owner confirms that the pet is in good health, or medical condition has otherwise been discussed and documented. We have the right to refuse entry.

By agreeing to the terms and conditions you as the owner agree that we will look after your pets belongings (collars,beds,toys etc) however they are left at the owner risk.

Please remove collars once cats are safely boarded, we ask this for their own safety.

Each pet must be bought to us in a suitable pet carrier and left with us for the duration of their stay incase of vet visit etc.

Please note wet and dry food stocked by us will be provided. Any special diets must be supplied by the owner to cover the duration of the cats stay.

There is a minimum charge of £30 per stay

Please note: Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day will be charged at double rate.

All male cats over 6 months old MUST be neutered.

We have the right to cancel your booking should the need arise.

Important Notices:

If any pets remain uncollected four weeks after the agreed date of collection with no contact made then we reserve the right to assume ownership of that animal and take any action we consider to be reasonable in re-homing that animal.

We require 14 days notice should you cancel your stay, if the notice is not given you may be required to pay the full amount for the cancelled board this will be at the managements discretion.
